27 April 2023

Royce McAuslane was delighted to be a panellist at Young Mining Professionals (YMP) event on 27 April 2023.  Together with three other panellists, all with experience of mining in Africa, Royce answered questions about how he came to be involved in a mining project in Africa, any challenges he and MineScope have had when working in Africa as compared with Australia, any factors a young mining professional should be aware of prior to working in Africa, and about ESG considerations.  His advice was well received, and also very current, given Royce has been assisting MineScope’s client Endeavour deliver the U$300M gold project expansion, including a BIOX® plant, at Massawa, after supporting the technical due diligence prior to acquisition, and a feasibility study, over the past two years, with first pour due early 2024.
