MineScope was hired to carry out Geo-Met Modelling of a complex refractory deposit, to assess ore block valuation, provide optimal treatment options and advise on multi-element blending and grade control.
Project Solutions and Approach
MineScope carried out a gap analysis to assess the multi-element data required to inform high confidence models for mining and processing of refractory deposits. Design of sampling programs, assistance with development of modelling protocols, blending strategies and operational procedures.
Outcomes and Achievements
Required data coverage was achieved enabling fit for purpose multi-element models to be built and for mining and stockpiling strategy to be developed.
