Ronél O’Connell

Ronél is a senior process engineer with extensive experience in metallurgical and extractive mining testwork over the past thirty years, having worked for at a major testwork laboratory company and also in house for a mining client. While based mostly in South Africa, her work covered large parts of the continent.  She has managed large teams to successfully provide testwork services, including: developing PDC, CAPEX & OPEX for different project phases,  reporting for studies, from scoping through to PFS & FS, plant operational support, BFDs & mass balances.  Her gold processing and testwork experience is in-depth, including BIOX, heap leach, gravity con, resin-in-leach, and she also has uranium & hydrometallurgical experience. She moved to Australia in 2022.
