Liezl Bezuidenhout

Liezl is a study manager with 27 years’ experience in several roles across projects including mining operations, process, and support functions in both South Africa and Australia. Liezl manages strategic and major projects with a preference to conceptual studies and strategy development. Liezl has also actioned conceptual studies on renewable energy, fuels and battery minerals in USA, Canada, Africa and Australia.

Liezl has steered complex, high value, strategic projects within all aspects of mining; mine planning and development, processing and refining, with sustainable development aspects (decarbonisation, biodiversity offsets, renewable energy). She believes in understanding and informing the bigger picture to ensure pro-active alignment on the outcome required.

Liezl thrives when coordinating a program of works, combining complex studies to enable an optimal and informed long term plan.
